1. Architectural design incorporates the arranging, planning, and development of structures and landscape scene development.
2. One of the principal broad works or books about engineering was the De Architectura, by Vitruvius in Rome around the year 15 BC. The book contains most of his own work, but is almost entirely dedicated to the design and building of structures. Most of what you will find about the book is his theories and observations about architecture.
3. The word Architecture comes from the Greek word "Arkhitekton."
4. Building materials have developed from natural, easy to gather materials such as brush, ice, mud, earth, sand, stone, cover, and lumber to artificially created composites, such as concrete, glass, metal, and plastics. When we see objects of a particular type, we should be careful to see whether they are made of artificial or naturally made byproducts. We should see that they were built of concrete or other materials.
5. There are several fabled architectural styles, Ancient Architecture (Pyramids), Asian Architecture (Pavilions & Gardens), Islamic (Taj Mahal), Medieval (Notre Dame), and more. But the most common is that of the Medieval. In the Middle Ages, the people of Europe built large, grand buildings. The most famous of these were the cathedrals. These were usually constructed from wood, and used arches in order to promote the sturdiness of the constructers albeit a labor intensive process.
6. Popular recorded works of architectural design include: the Leaning Tower of Pisa for Italy, St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, the Colosseum in Rome, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Pyramids in Egypt, or Machu Picchu in Peru. Many cities in the world have been built with the help of innovative architecture. This way of building can be used to design a structure that is easy for a person to create future proof constructions that are both celebrated and experienced by many.
